I am an Assistant Professor in Real Estate Economics and Finance at UCL's Bartlett Real Estate Institute, in London. I wrote my PhD at University of Groningen and worked as a postdoc at Maastricht University, both in the Netherlands.

My research aims at understanding how the built environment affects us; it deals with topics that fall at the intersection of real estate, urban, environmental, and health economics. My current projects range from studying externalities in housing markets to the impact of poor indoor air quality.
